We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to a fintech client’s. Required Skills: • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including tools such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run • Strong Python programm[i]ng skills, including building and debugging machine learning pipelines • Problem-solving mindset: Strong analytical skills and ability to take ownership of challenges and drive solutions independently • Communication skills: Excellent communication abilities and fluency in English • Skilled in knowledge transfer: Able to explain best practices, architecture choices, and scalable AI setups on GCP • Team-oriented mindset: Supports shared goals, takes ownership, and fosters learning • Proficient in setting up and managing development environments, including Jupyter Notebooks, to support efficient model development and experimentation Deep practical knowledge of: o ML frameworks: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras o LLMs and Generative AI: Gemini, LangChain, Hugging Face o Data processing: Pandas, NumPy o Visualization: Matplotlib, Seaborn o GCP-native tools: Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run o Responsible AI practices: model monitoring, data governance, fairness and explainability o Version control & collaboration tools: Proficiency with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD workflows Nice to Have: • Experience with MLOps principles and tools • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform • Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code Start date: ASAP Duration: 6 months from start date with a possible extension Workload: 100% Location: Stockholm - Candidates must be based in Stockholm.
